Nene Leakes Is Giving Some Sneak Peeks of Her Pool... and It Looks Like a Resort
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mama is showing off her stunning backyard.
If we know anything about Nene Leakes, it’s that she loves things that are ultra-luxe and showy, so it’s no surprise her pool is totally over the top. In a series of Instagram posts over the weekend, The Real Housewives of Atlanta actress gave her followers a sneak peek into her backyard, and um, can we say #goals?
But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen her beautiful pool area — Nene gave Home & Design a tour of her Atlanta home, which she purchased for $2.1 million in 2015 (click on the video above for the full tour!). “This is my pool area, yay, don’t you just love it! I love the resort feeling. I wanted to make sure we had lots of beds to lay out on, we wanted to do fountains, we looove this area!” she explained while showing off the swank outdoor space. “And I know what you’re thinking… ‘Does she really get in there and wet her hair?’ No, girl, I wet in my tub!”
Classic Nene! Here’s what we love about the space: the fountains edging the outline of the pool, adding height and a fun additional water element.
Also, the light travertine stone slabs surrounding the pool have a Grecian feel... but they're actually a smart choice, as they won’t get as hot as bluestone does in the sun!
Lastly, can we talk about her pop of color? While most would have chosen neutral couch cushions to accent the travertine stone, Nene opted for a cornflower blue hue, which when paired with the dark wicker seating is a dynamite combo.
