Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga and former MTV Jersey Shore wild child, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, may not seem like an obvious match, but apparently the two have quite a bit in common.
Both Jersey residents, wives and mothers of young children, Melissa and Snooki also share an affinity for bonding over booze.
"Having a liquid lunch with these two Jersey girls," Melissa captioned a photo of herself with Snooki and Traci Johnson, wife of former NFL player Tiki Barber, striking a pose reminiscent of Charlie's Angels. "They are next door neighbors!"
Snooki also posted a photo from the lunch date, which included her friend and podcast cohost Joey Canasta, and captioned the shot, "Lunch with my jersey mamas."
The party continued into the night at Casa de Gorga with Joey later posting a photo with Snooki, Melissa and Joe and writing, "Such a fun night at the Gorga's!"
Melissa and Snooki's newfound friendship has fans of both reality stars perhaps reading too much into the time they're spending together, with many speculating the two could eventually become costars. "I really hope Snooki joins the Housewives!" said one commenter.
