What's Next For SWV? What "Normal" Looks Like for the '90s R&B Group
From time at home to concerts in front of screaming fans, the ladies of SWV share what life is like after their collaboration concert with XSCAPE.
After a one-night only concert with XSCAPE, where is the '90s group SWV now?
Well, the ladies just celebrated 30 years together as a best-selling trio, only days after their Ontario concert with XSCAPE in September 2022. The collaboration was shown on SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B, streaming now on Peacock.
“I am still on a high, like we actually pulled something off that we did not think was going to happen,” said Leanne “Lelee” Lyons on the show’s finale.
But after the collab with XSCAPE, life is slowly going back to normal for SWV.
“What I’m most looking forward to is sleeping in my own bed, kissing on my dog and my man,” said Cheryl “Coko” Gamble in the finale of the show.
SWV’s other normal? Continuing to perform for their devoted following of fans.
Lelee kept it vague on what that means, telling Bravo: “We’ve been entertaining a few fun things, but you’re going to have to follow us on social media, so when everything is kinda put together and confirmed, you’ll get to hear about it.”

So far, it’s been revealed SWV has a summer tour planned with Jodeci, according to the credits of the show’s finale. And the ladies shared on their Instagram page they’ll be performing at the Something In The Water Festival in Virginia Beach at the end of April, alongside names like Kid Cudi, The Kid Laroi, Pharrell Williams, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Wayne and Lil Yachty (who just performed on Saturday Night Live on April 1).
They’re also planning a show for May 14 at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, TX according to their website.
In the meantime, SWV has been keeping busy. They posted on their Instagram page a performance from The Jennifer Hudson Show on April 4. They also posted from a March 18 performance at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, FL. And the ladies joined XSCAPE on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Feb. 27 to talk about everything from the collab concert to Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George’s time as a castaway on Survivor.
