Luis D. Ortiz’s little girl is on the move!
The proud Million Dollar Listing New York dad recently shared a video of his 1-year-old daughter, Leela, beginning to take her very first steps. On April 13, Luis shared a sweet video of the tot moving around, using a toy walker to make her way around the room. Followed closely behind by her mother, Nikita, Leela looked incredibly focused on her walking skills.
“We almost there baby,” Luis captioned the video. Which, by the way, was pretty impressive on its own. Luis’s fellow MDLNY father, Frederik Eklund, commented on the post to note how beautiful the video was. “I love your eye for life,” he wrote. “You are an artist. Don’t ever forget that.”
At one point, Leela got a bit of a scare and toppled over, but Nikita picked her up right away. “Did mama scare you?” she asked the baby.
Luis has been sharing lots of adorable footage of his daughter recently. On April 3, he posted a video where she’s giggling and smiling, and it’s just too cute!
Luis has previously opened up about how fatherhood has completely changed his life. “I am driven by a real purpose,” he said in the Season 8 finale of Million Dollar Listing New York. “It’s reassuring, the realization that I finally arrived in a place of substance. Oh, Leela, you changed my life. You saved me.”
He has also explained how Leela has shown him that life is really about the small, everyday details. “You come to realize at the end of the day that the simplest things are the ones that are more meaningful,” he explained in an Instagram post about his daughter.
