What Went Down During the Break at the Vanderpump Rules Reunion: “F-cking Madness”

The Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion continued with Part 2 on May 31, and as Tom Schwartz put it when the group reconvened after a brief break, “It’s been f-cking madness.”
The madness didn’t stop during the break either. Get details on everything that went down once Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Scheana Shay, and Lisa Vanderpump left the reunion stage (and before Raquel Leviss joined them).
Lala Kent Expressed a Surprising Concern
Katie and Lala were among the first to connect during the break when the latter cast member, who’s never one to mince her words, asked a surprising question: “Am I too out of pocket right now?”
“I feel like every time [Sandoval] opens his mouth,” Lala added, “I pounce.”
Katie didn’t give Lala a direct answer, instead responding, “I just want to, like, get through stuff.”
Tom Schwartz Got a Workout In
Instead of leaving the reunion stage with the rest of the cast, Schwartz dropped to the floor to do a few push-ups. He could also be seen doing yoga in BravoTV.com’s behind-the-scenes look at the reunion. In the same video, he shared how he was feeling about everything.
“It’s always, like, super intense, but relatively speaking, it just feels very heavy on my heart,” Schwartz said, adding that because he’s so close with Sandoval, the fallout from his affair with Raquel has “been really intense” for him too. “Just being adjacent to it has been mentally and spiritually exhausting.”
Ariana, James, and Lala Dished on Sandoval and Raquel
Attempting to predict whether or not Sandoval and Raquel would stay together after the reunion, James weighed in by saying, “If they do end up together, I swear to f-cking god, like, good riddance. Live in a yurt in the desert.”
Lala, meanwhile, was less optimistic. “Real life has sunk in. The two of them together? He’s gonna be off doing his thing just like he’s always been doing,” she said, prompting Ariana to add, “And when little miss home-wrecker starts making actual demands of a relationship, she’s not gonna be so cool and chill anymore, babe. Just like I wasn’t.”
Ariana Madix Had a Costume Change (Much to Lisa Vanderpump’s Surprise)
Ariana’s head-turning Season 10 reunion dress was nowhere to be found when Lisa ran into Ariana in the hallway. Instead, Ariana had changed out of the gown and into a yellow sweatsuit. As such, Lisa asked, “Why have you taken your clothes off?!”
Ariana responded, “Because it’s lunchtime and I cannot sit there with my tits out.”

Sandoval’s Reunion Recap
As Andy Cohen noted in Part 1 of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion, Raquel would be joining the cast a “little bit later” since, at the time, she and Scheana were in a situation that required them to be kept apart. So upon the group’s first break of the day, Sandoval paid Raquel a visit in the nearby trailer where she had been watching the reunion thus far.
“It’s rough out there,” he said before embracing her. “I got emotional right off the bat, and James has literally been exactly how I knew he would be. If I blink, he’s like, ‘Look at him blinking over there!’ He’s just, like, out of control. Scheana’s fully groveling to Katie because she wants to be back into the group, and Lala, who literally does not give a flying f-ck about either one of us, [is] calling me a narcissist. And they’re making you out to be — and me — basically, pathological liars.”
Raquel took issue with that part, telling Sandoval, “We know that we’re not. And we haven’t lied about anything besides this affair.”
Raquel’s Questioning of Sandoval and Ariana’s Relationship
Discussing her own interpretation of the reunion thus far, Raquel told Sandoval, “I don’t love the way it’s coming across about your [and Ariana’s] intimacy. Clearly, I only know what you’re telling me, but just watching what you guys taped right now, it looked like you guys had, like, this solid relationship.”
Sandoval claimed that Ariana had only recently done a 180, though. “It went from me asking her just something simple like, ‘What should I wear tonight?’ or ‘Hey, what do you think about this?’ [and she would] be like, ‘No,’ to literally her saying, ‘Well, Tom, you’re so good at fashion. You should just wear what you want,’” he alleged. “And I’m like, ‘What?’”
Responded Raquel, “I feel like she felt like you wanted to keep the relationship working because you never broke up with her.”
Sandoval admitted that he “maybe” should’ve ended the relationship “earlier,” to which Raquel said, “You think?”
Sandoval’s Warning to Raquel
Before Raquel and Ariana came face-to-face for the first time at the reunion, Sandoval told Raquel, “Ariana’s gonna unleash on you.”
“It just sucks, because my entire character is in question now,” Raquel replied. “I have gone through a transitional phase in my life this summer, [but] I think the pendulum swang [sic] a little too far the other way and this is my wake-up call.”
Sandoval’s Confrontation with a Producer
After Sandoval and Raquel exited her trailer, he asked a nearby producer if he and Raquel could continue talking, but off camera. The producer explained to Sandoval that he could indeed take a break from filming, but only if he planned to do so alone.
“Stop filming me!” Sandoval yelled in response. “I don’t want a camera in my f-cking goddamn face … I don’t feel relaxed. She doesn’t either. We have to watch what we f-cking say. I’m in a very delicate position right now.”
