Kyle Richards Unpacks Recent Run-In with Lisa Vanderpump: "Interesting..."
RHOBH's Kyle Richards just saw the Vanderpump Rules matriarch and her husband, Ken Todd.
Kyle Richards just revealed that she "recently" ran into her former bestie, Lisa Vanderpump, and her husband, Ken Todd.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member opened up about the run-in during a November 5 Amazon Live stream.
"I did see her recently, actually," Kyle said about seeing the Vanderpump Rules restaurateur, who also appeared on the first nine seasons of RHOBH. "And I said, 'Hi,' and she was with Ken. This was not that long ago, maybe a month ago or so, and she was actually friendly."
Kyle didn't share where exactly she ran into the couple, but she did say that she got a warmer reception from Ken.
"Ken's always — he gives a kiss or whatever, she's a little colder but it was [an] interesting encounter," she continued in the livestream. "Anyway, it was not bad, [it] did not go badly, I will say that."
Why did Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump stop being friends?
As longtime RHOBH viewers know, Kyle and Lisa had a strong friendship (albeit, with some bumps in the road) on the first eight seasons of the show.
On Season 9, however, things between the besties began to deteriorate when Puppygate happened. The tension between Lisa and Kyle came to a head when the latter diamond holder visited Lisa in her home.
After their conversation went off the rails, Lisa's husband, Ken, entered the kitchen to ask Kyle to leave Villa Rosa.
Would Kyle Richards be friends with Lisa Vanderpump again?
Kyle shared during her Amazon Live that she would indeed be interested in moving forward with the SUR owner.
"Well, I know I'm always open to something like that," Kyle explained. "But, Lisa... I mean, I'm not gonna say she's stubborn, but Lisa can be very stubborn... If we were both like me, we would have made up already, but she's not open like that. She does — I've said it before — she's someone who holds a grudge, so I could also hold a grudge about things but I don't. I choose to let that go, so I don't know."
Would Lisa Vanderpump be open to reconciling with Kyle Richards?
Kyle may be open to reconciling with the RHOBH alum, but Lisa does not feel the same way. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in May 2024, Lisa revealed if she regrets throwing Kyle out of her house back on RHOBH Season 9.
"Oh no," Lisa said while smiling. "Not only do I not regret it, I loved it."
A few months earlier, while popping up on Today with Jenna and Hoda, Lisa confirmed that she does not want to be friends with Kyle again.
"I think that ship has sailed,” Lisa said in January 2024. “I think she knows how I feel. I’ve been very honest about that.”
