Padma Lakshmi's Daughter Wants Her To Spill On Who She's Crushing On: "Do I Have To?"
The Top Chef host shares some fun moments with her daughter.
Padma Lakshmi and her daughter, Krishna, are kicking off the year by spending some fun-filled quality time together. Bravo's Top Chef host recently took to Instagram to share several moments with her 11-year-old daughter, including one of the mother-daughter duo playing a particularly interesting game.
"[Little Hands] really wants me to expose my celebrity crush on here," Padma wrote in her January 9 post, alongside the hashtags "cup challenge" and "do I have to" in the caption. The post featured a fun video of Padma and Krishna, who Padma affectionately calls "Little Hands," playing a game that required tossing a pencil into a cup, where the objective of the game included having to do whatever the other player requested if the writing object actually landed in the cup.
"You must walk Divina once a day for 7 days straight," Padma told Krishna as they played the cup challenge game, referring to their family's rescue pup. She then tossed her pencil and had it land in the cup. Though Padma may have won that round, her daughter definitely raised the stakes of the game after challenging her mom (several times) to reveal her celebrity crush on Instagram. After Krishna's pencil made it in the cup, Padma said this to her daughter in response to spilling the tea on her celeb crush: "Only after you walk Divina for 7 days."
Recently, Padma also posted a sweet moment sharing a homemade meal with her daughter. "Slurping highly encouraged!" Padma captioned the January 7 post, adding, in part, "I made ramen this week for dinner with [Little Hands]."
Last month, the Top Chef mom showed a bit of her nostalgic side over the holidays. She shared a flashback photo with her "Little Hands" as a little kid decorating their Christmas tree alongside a recent photo of Padma and Krishna decorating their tree. "How it started vs. How it's going," Padma captioned the cute side-by-side snapshots.
In addition to throwback photos with her daughter, Padma also shared one of herself, as well as a heartwarming photo as a little girl with her mother. She wrote in the caption of her January 6 post, "This is me at age 4 when I first came to the US from India. If you’re an immigrant or the child of immigrants let me know where your family moved from? How old were you?"
