The Vanderpump Rules cast member reunited with Burt for a belated birthday celebration.
Tom Schwartz was feeling the brotherly love.
On Sunday, March 24, the Vanderpump Rules OG shared a peek at his mini-family reunion with Robert “Burt” Schwartz, one of his triplet brothers who resides in Florida. Tom Schwartz confirmed Burt had traveled to Los Angeles for a belated birthday celebration, which included a stop at Jax’s Studio City, a new sports bar owned by Tom Schwartz’s former Vanderpump Rules castmates Jax Taylor and his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
“BDAY BRO,” Tom Schwartz captioned a photo of Burt posing inside The Valley couple’s bar.

The brothers then hit up the Crypto.com Arena to watch an LA Lakers game alongside Jax and his talent manager, Ryan Revel.
Tom Schwartz’s castmate/longtime friend Tom Sandoval also documented the reunion on Instagram and declared, “Burt is Back!” He shared a couple of photos of Burt hanging out at Schwartz and Sandy’s, the Franklin Village restaurant he co-owns with Tom Schwartz.

Burt’s SoCal trip went down more than a month after he and his triplet brothers celebrated their birthday. In 2023, Tom Schwartz honored his brothers’ special day by sharing heartwarming photos from their childhood. The Instagram carousel included a picture of Tom Schwartz and Burt sitting on their trikes alongside their brothers William “Billy” and Brandon. There was also a photo of the younger triplets standing side-by-side on a pool day.
“HAPPY BDAY TO MY DEAR BROTHERS,” Tom Schwartz captioned the throwback post. “The trips. The 3 Amigos. The boys. Love you all.”
Tom Schwartz opens up about his brother Burt's addiction
Fans were introduced to the Schwartz triplets in Vanderpump Rules Season 5 when they flew out to California to attend Tom Schwartz’s wedding to his now-ex-wife, Katie Maloney.
In Episode 3 of Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Tom Schwartz revealed Burt had been hospitalized during his time in rehab. The Minnesota native shared the heartbreaking update while speaking to his former boss, Lisa Vanderpump.
“I got really bad news about my brother this morning,” he told the restaurateur in the February 13 episode. “I got my brother back in rehab, but he had to be rushed to the hospital yesterday. I didn’t realize it was this bad, but I think he has cirrhosis, and that’s really serious if you know anything about it.”
The revelation came less than a year after Tom Schwartz revealed his other brother, Brandon, had been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Tom Schwartz says Burt's health issues made him re-think his alcohol consumption
Tom Schwartz revealed more details about Burt’s struggles in a confessional interview, saying his brother was always a “ray of sunshine” until he had a traumatic experience.
“He got jumped outside of a bar,” Tom Schwartz continued. “He was just kind of never the same. He slowly started developing a dependency on alcohol… Any form of addiction and the impact it has on the whole family is brutal. Seeing someone I love suffer so much because of their dependency on alcohol, it’s made me re-think my moderation.”
