Brittany Cartwright Debunks Jax Taylor's Claim She Tried to Hook Up with Him
The Valley's Brittany Cartwright wanted to "clear" some things up about Jax Taylor's recent appearance on Bravo's Hot Mic podcast.
Brittany Cartwright is clarifying whether she tried to reconcile with Jax Taylor amid their separation.
After Jax appeared on Bravo's Hot Mic podcast and claimed that Brittany had tried to "hook up" with him following their split, the mom of one fired back.
In a comment under an Instagram video from the podcast, The Valley cast member said that she only ever invited Jax over to work on their co-parenting relationship (the two share son Cruz Michael Cauchi together).
"Let me make this clear I was trying to see if we can be friends for our son and obviously we CAN'T," Brittany wrote.
In another comment, Brittany confirmed, "We did NOT [hook up]. Let's be clear on that too lol."

Elsewhere on the podcast, Jax said that he had emailed Brittany about getting a mediator while he was still in in-patient treatment for mental health-related issues.
"What people don't know is the second week into rehab, I emailed Brittany and said, 'I'm getting a mediator.' People don't realize that," the former SUR bartender said on the podcast. "I'm the one who initiated this..."
Once again, Brittany fired back in the comments section.
"HahaHAHAAH LIES," she wrote.
She also seemed to share her thoughts on Jax's Hot Mic appearance when she posted two sultry pictures of her sitting poolside in Palm Springs on Instagram on November 14.
"Not a care in the world," she captioned the images.
Who is Brittany Cartwright dating?
The Vanderpump Rules alum has not gone public with any relationship since announcing her split from Jax in February 2024.
Though Brittany has been linked to Jax's friend, Julian Sensely, she has defined their past dynamic as a "fling."
"I think that me hooking up with his friend, it wasn’t... planned," Brittany said when she appeared on the Season 3 premiere of Bravo's Hot Mic podcast. “But I also — it was somebody that I felt like I knew, and in our world it’s so crazy because like, how do you trust people? And I was single for the first time in L.A."
On his podcast episode, Jax said that he was "in shock" when he found out that Brittany had been hooking up with his friend Julian.
"I don’t think I would have been bothered by it if it was somebody else that I didn’t know,” Jax said. "There was a whole five or six months where I wasn’t seeing anybody, but this was going on."
"I definitely got a taste of my own medicine," Jax admitted, referring to his past pre-marriage indiscretions.
