Jennifer Aydin Offers an Update on Teresa Giudice Amid Joe's Ongoing Legal Issues: "She’s Holding Her Own"
The RHONJ mom is feeling the support of those close to her.
Teresa Giudice's pals have her back as she and her family await word on the appeal in Joe Giudice's deportation case. Joe is currently in Italy after his release from ICE custody earlier this month, and Teresa's friends are lending their support however they can.
“We’re all supporting her the best way we know how. I send her messages every now and then. I check in," Jennifer Aydin told HollywoodLife about being there for The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom.
She added, “She looks great, she’s handling it, and she’s holding her own — she’s done it up until now, right? She’s been doing a good job!”
Joe Gorga also offered an update on the RHONJ husband: "He's doing good," he told TooFab while out in Los Angeles with Melissa Gorga last weekend.
Family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. confirmed in an interview with Amy Phillips on her SiriusXM show this week that Teresa and their daughters are planning their trip to Italy to visit Joe. He also noted that Joe and his team are still fighting to bring him back to the United States: "I want to be very, very clear everybody's goal is that he comes back to the United States and that's what we're working on.”
Joe and Teresa will appear together (Joe via video) for Sunday's sit-down with Andy Cohen for the special, The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked. It will air Sunday, October 27 at 8/7c. After taping the sit-down, Andy teased the interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
"You do not want to miss our interview with Teresa and Joe Giudice, which airs Sunday night," Andy said. "I did the interview today, and it was next level, you guys. Really good."
The couple's oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, also previewed the interview on her Instagram, writing, "My mom and dad are telling all."
Her comment mirrored what her mom tweeted earlier this week when Teresa wrote that she and her husband would be discussing "everything that has been happening with us and our family the past few months."
Joe was released from ICE custody on October 11 after his request to await a final decision in his ongoing deportation case in his native Italy was granted earlier this month. He gave his first statement since leaving custody in an exclusive video to The Daily Dish earlier this week, which you can view, above.
