Teresa Giudice Draws a Line in The Sand with Joe Gorga: "There's A Lot of Things..."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice just opened up about where she stands with her brother today.
Teresa Giudice's complicated relationship with brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, has been documented on The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the past 12 seasons.
Season 14, which is currently airing, has captured the siblings refusing to talk to one another while remaining on the outskirts of each others' lives.
Does Teresa Giudice plan on reconciling with her brother, Joe Gorga?
Not anytime soon. During a recent appearance on LIVE With Kelly and Mark, Teresa told host Kelly Ripa that she did not see there being a "path forward" in their relationship, especially since they've already tried to have a conversation with one another, away from the cameras. "We've done it so many times, Kelly," she said.
"And, you saw my parents — how I was raised — and there's a lot of things that, you know, I'm not going to discuss, that happened," Teresa explained. "And I always kept my mouth shut because I didn't want to upset my parents. And you know what, sometimes, you just can't go back."
While Teresa said that "a lot has happened" between them over the years, she feels "at peace" with this decision. "Listen, he's happy with his, you know, wife and his family, and her family. I'm happy with my new husband."

Joe and Melissa also addressed the possibility of reconciling during a June appearance on Sherri, stating that it would not happen "right now." "You know what it is when someone is never happy for you or your marriage, it becomes very difficult when — sometimes you have to take the toxic and say, listen, this is very toxic," Melissa said.
"Melissa's been in my life for 20 years," Joe added. "I have three children with her — that is my life. You have to embrace my life. You can't try to tear my life down for what reason? I have to make a choice...and I can't be around somebody trying to hurt me."
Joe Gorga emotionally reflects on his relationship with Teresa Giudice
In RHONJ Season 14 Episode 9, Joe got emotional about the future of his relationship with Teresa and her four daughters. After officiating his cousin's wedding, Joe addressed that he was sad that Teresa would miss out on her niece and nephews' future milestones.
"It makes me think of my sister and I say, 'She won't be at my kids' weddings,'" he said during a confessional. "My nieces will get married and I'm not gonna be there."
