Amanda Reveals Which Summer House Cast Members She Thinks Will Be Invited to Carl and Lindsay’s Wedding
Plus, Kyle Cooke had a surprising response about whether he would want to be Carl’s best man.
Wedding bells are ringing for Summer House duo Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke, but will any of their housemates be invited to the upcoming nuptials?
The couple, who became engaged in August 2022 after less than a year of dating (but after years of friendship), have yet to share who will be on their guest list when they exchange vows. However, fellow cast member Amanda Batula has some ideas about who might make the cut, and she shared them on the March 13 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Though she doesn’t know “for certain” who will attend the wedding, Amanda believes two of the Season 7 additions will be there.
“Definitely Sam [Feher] and Gabby [Prescod],” she said about the housemates who will receive invitations. “The rest of us, I don’t know. I would hope that at least Kyle [Cooke] does. But I don’t know for certain.”
On Summer House Season 7, Kyle and Carl have been clashing as the latter cast member tries to figure out if he wants to stay at Loverboy (he ultimately left the alcohol company in the fall of 2022). Plus, Amanda and Lindsay haven’t been getting along. Though Carl and Kyle have since patched things up in their friendship, Amanda and Lindsay are still not in touch with each other.
“Kyle and Carl are good,” Amanda added. “I just don’t think Lindsay likes me very much.”
Amanda may not be on speaking terms with Lindsay at the moment, but she does “hope” the foursome can “just get back together and agree to disagree” in order to “move forward” in the future.
During a recent chat with The Daily Dish, Kyle opened up about whether he thinks he will be a part of Carl and Lindsay’s wedding. As Summer House fans may remember, Carl officiated Kyle and Amanda’s wedding in September 2021, and he also served as the best man.
“I mean, look, I hope I have an opportunity to be in the wedding party and potentially [to be] a best man or co–best man or whatever,” Kyle said. “But at the end of the day, things evolve.”
Like Amanda, Kyle is optimistic that things will get better.
“We’re in a very different place than we were at the end of the summer [in] 2021, but I love Carl. There’s a reason he officiated my wedding,” he continued. “He’s been such a big part of my life and Amanda’s life, and I just hope we can all be grown-ups and not let our friendships deteriorate.”
