Taylor Offers a Surprising Update on Where She Stands with Olivia & Austen Now: "I Think..."

Taylor Ann Green's friendships with Olivia Flowers and Austen Kroll fell apart on Southern Charm Season 9, but she's in a much better place with the two today.

Ahead of the Season 10 premiere on December 5, Taylor chatted with Us Weekly, and she revealed that she was recently in touch with Olivia. "I think we’re on a good turn and she reached out," Taylor told the outlet. "I allowed that space and time for her to reach out to me if she was ready or wanting or willing, and so she did, and I think we’re good."

Taylor said that the interaction took place when Season 10 had just begun filming. "We had just started filming and she just said, 'Hey, I’ve heard some things. I'm just checking in on you, making sure you’re doing OK,'" Taylor remembered. "Of course [I said], ‘It’s so great to hear from you. I obviously think about you a lot."

"It was really good to hear from her," she continued. "But yeah, it was nice of her to just say that she was checking in."

In addition to being thrilled that she heard from Olivia, Taylor is also pleased that her former bestie is doing thriving in her personal life (Olivia got engaged to Alex Williams in October 2024).

"She’s doing really well," Taylor said. "She is engaged and she’s got some other things going on."

As fans saw on Southern Charm Season 9, Taylor and Olivia's once-close friendship collapsed when Olivia learned that Taylor had kissed her ex, Austen. Taylor had initially denied the kiss, but she ultimately came clean on the show.

Austen Kroll's love life today

Per his BravoTV.com bio, Austen has found love and isn't afraid to show it: "Once shy of commitment, Austen finds himself coupled up with a new long-distance girlfriend, whom he has affectionately nicknamed “Pookie.” He is also focused on re-launching his beer business, Trop Hop. After the romantic implosion between Austen and Taylor last year, Austen remains focused on rebuilding his friendship with Shep, while his relationship with Craig starts to fall apart."

Audrey also makes a cameo in the Season 10 premiere preview at the top of the post.

Taylor Ann Green's love life today

Taylor is also happy in her personal life. as her BravoTV.com profile nores: "Fresh off a romantically tumultuous year, Taylor has found love again with her new boyfriend Gaston, a Charleston mainstay whom everyone in the group has an opinion on. Taylor works to strengthen her female friendships this season but goes toe-to-toe with a new girl in town."

Does Taylor Ann Green talk to ex, Shep Rose?

Shep addressed where he stands with Taylor at the moment after their emotional breakup during Bravo Fan Fest last month in Miami.

"No, no, we're not [talking]. She doesn't want to contact me. I don't know why," he said, adding he thinks they've had some issues navigating a friendship amid Taylor's relationship with Gaston. "I understand, I respect that. Me personally, I would root for her. I will continue to root for her if she needs anything for the rest of her life. I'm there for her and I love her family and I still communicate with her mom. Sometimes we talk and so it's very, deep roots and I mean, it was the longest relationship I've ever had."

He added: "And I don't know, man, it's really hard honestly because I wanna text her sometimes and I had a dream that she was in and it was very benign. She had made lettuce wraps and they were really good and we were laughing and eating lettuce wraps and I wanted to call, text her just so stupid, but like I asked somebody and they're like, do not do that."
