Lauren Wirkus Is Expecting Her Second Child

Major congratulations are in order for Lauren Wirkus! The Summer House alum recently took to Instagram to announce that she’s currently expecting her second child with husband David Raih.

Lauren confirmed the happy news with a sweet Instagram photo on May 17.  In the series of heartwarming pictures, Lauren’s eldest child, daughter Goldie, can be seen smiling and throwing her arms up in celebration while sitting next to a sonogram photo of her younger sibling.

“[Baby] coming October 2022,” Lauren wrote in the caption of the photos alongside a pink and blue heart emoji. She concluded by going on to add several hashtags that spelled out “two under two,” “big sister alert,” “baby Raih,” and “number 2.”

Earlier this month, Lauren opened up about motherhood while celebrating Mother’s Day with little Goldie. The proud mom shared a photo of herself holding her daughter while posing in front of an archway of pink and white balloons.

“Put your hands up in the air for all the mama’s,” she captioned the photo. “Forever grateful that I get to be called mom the name I cherish and love the most! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mama’s.”

Lauren isn’t only one in her family to celebrate baby news in recent months. In March, Lauren’s twin sister Ashley Wirkus McAtee welcomed her second child, a son named Cole Davis McAtee.
