Ciara Miller Shares an Update on Her Love Life After Being “on the Bench” for a While
The Summer House cast member also shared what she’s looking for in a relationship.
Ciara Miller will be the first to tell you she hasn’t had much luck finding love on Summer House and Winter House, but as she recently revealed on the Chicks in the Office podcast, she’s currently “dating around.”
“No love interest … nothing too crazy. I’m trying to get my own s--t in line,” Ciara added, explaining that she took the time to “ride the bench” this past summer because of all the Austen Kroll drama one year prior.
In light of said drama, Ciara was asked if she intends to avoid dating anyone else on reality TV in the future. “I would like to,” she responded. “Or if I do go that direction, I’m gonna watch their show before.”
What about an athlete? Amanda Batula, who appeared on the podcast alongside her Summer House castmate, floated the idea. However, as Ciara explained, “I just would be scared to date an athlete because, look, I’m very much a monogamous type. Like, I don’t want to be entertained, I don’t run a roster, I’m not looking for attention from every single guy. I actually find that the least fulfilling. I really just want one person who’s all about me and I’m all about them.”
“And not that that can’t happen from an athlete,” Ciara continued. “I just feel like they have unlimited options and so many girls and I’m just really not trying to compete with that. And I know that [with] the right man, there’s going to be no competition, but it’s just, I mean, everyone wants an athlete.”
Being on reality TV herself comes with its own challenges, though. “I’ve been out on some dates where people are already familiar with what I do … that I’m on TV, they’ve seen it, they’ve watched it, whatever,” Ciara said. “So they’ll ask me a question but they allude to the fact that they don’t watch it, but I’m like, ‘But you just slipped!’”
Regardless, “I’m not bringing anyone on TV until I’m actually ready and confident,” she concluded.
