Ciara Miller Opens Up About How Her Current Living Situation Affects Her Job: "It's Hard"
When the Summer House cast member isn't living it up in New York, she has another state to call home as she details if she's still working as a nurse.
Summer House's Ciara Miller is used to shacking up in the Hamptons during the summer to hang with her friends. But, when the travel nurse and model isn't chilling at the beach with her besties, Ciara has two places that she calls home. During an August 6 appearance on the podcast, Something Went Wrong W/ Vinny, Ciara gave an update on her career and how it impacts where she lives and spends her time.
Where does Ciara Miller live now?
Ciara is a Georgia native and she hasn't been able to forget her roots quite easily. During her appearance on the podcast, she revealed that she currently splits her time between working as a travel nurse in Atlanta and living in New York City.
"So I'll go back and forth," she said. "And I'll just work three shifts every six to eight weeks."
When she's not in Atlanta, Ciara has found so much happiness living in Manhattan. "I've been in New York for three years now," she said. "I feel like I'm so New York now, I feel like I can't go back."
Ciara Miller opens up about her career as a travel nurse
The critical care ICU nurse also openly talked about her career. "I work, still," she explained. "I went back at the top of the year. It's a struggle."
Although she only works for short periods at a time, Ciara explained that it isn't the most glamorous job. "You're doing 3-month or 18-week assignments, it's chill," she said. "But travel nurses historically get really sh-tty assignments when you're a bedside nurse."
However, Ciara finds so much happiness from her fast-paced lifestyle. "But it's hard going from like, an intense environment like that, and then going to something that's like, so chill," she said. "That's why I can't quit right now."
"I can't detach myself from nursing right now, because I'm like, 'What am I gonna do that feels as fulfilling as critical care?' You know? What's on the other side?" she asked. "I live two different lives."
Ciara's "different lives" are evident in her Instagram carousel from July 30. One second she's celebrating birthdays and traveling by ferry in the middle of the city, the next second, she's wearing a cowboy hat and traveling by car down country roads.
Is Ciara Miller still modeling?
During Summer House Season 8 Episode 2, which aired in February, Ciara gave a major update on her modeling career. "So, me and modeling have always been a thing," she said in the episode.
"I've been modeling since I was 16. I've been able to put it on the back burner and pick it back up whenever I've wanted to, but the New York market is so competitive and there are so many different types of girls and...I'm old, I'm short...lord, what else," she joked. "Will I fit into this market? Yeah, I don't know."
