Why Danielle Olivera Won’t Be Babysitting for Lindsay Hubbard: “I Don’t...”
The Summer House alum also revealed her initial reaction to Lindsay's pregnancy news.
Danielle Olivera has no interest in babysitting for Lindsay Hubbard. Not anytime soon, at least.
“I don’t want to be with the child alone until they can wipe their own ass. Can I say that?” the Summer House alum jokingly told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t want the meatball stage; it makes me so nervous. I want to be, like, running around, I want to play sports with her. I’ll be a babysitter later on. I’m not changing diapers. Do I look like I change diapers? No.”
Danielle said she saw herself in a “fun aunt” role for Lindsay’s daughter, as she intended to “gift the baby everything.”
Lindsay reveals which of her castmates would be the best babysitter
Danielle made the comments while attending Lindsay’s October 26 baby shower, where the expectant mother revealed which of her Hamptons housemates she would trust with babysitting duties.
“I’m gonna go with Ciara [Miller],” Lindsay told ET. “She’s a nurse and god forbid anything were to happen, she would save my baby. Amanda [Batula] is a close second. Amanda is very, very nurturing. And Paige [DeSorbo] is, like, ‘No. Don’t even ask me.’”
Danielle Olivera is confident Lindsay will be "the best mom in the world"
Back in July, Lindsay announced she and her mystery boyfriend were expecting their first child together. Danielle said she became emotional after hearing the news because she knew Lindsay always wanted to get married and be a mother.
“I wanted to start crying immediately. So happy for her. She’s been wanting this for so long,” Danielle said. “She’ll say it’s out of order but I think it’s perfect… It’s what she’s wanted for so, so long.”
So, what kind of mom does Danielle think Lindsay will be?
“She’s gonna be so great,” the Summer House alum said. “I think that she will be a disciplinarian. I think that she is going to be goofy. The pregnancy has made her even more goofy and silly and fun and bubbly… She’s gonna be the best mom in the world.”
Is Lindsay moving in with her baby daddy?
With her due date set for the holiday season, Lindsay has spent the past several months preparing her apartment for the fast-approaching arrival. Although her boyfriend has assisted in the nursery set-up, Lindsay confirmed they have no immediate plans to move in together; nor are they thinking about tying the knot.
“A lot of people have asked me over the last eight months, you know, ‘Are you gonna live together? Are you moving in? Are you gonna get married?’” Lindsay told ET last month. “Those were some things that I pretty much took off the table immediately upon finding out that we were pregnant. I was like, ‘Look, I am not looking for a proposal. I’m not thinking about marriage.’”
