What Is Taylor Ann Green’s Job Today? Here’s an Update on Her Career
After taking time off to travel the world with ex Shep Rose, Taylor has taken on a new career venture.
While she was still dating Shep Rose, Taylor Ann Green decided to take time off from her job as an orthodontics assistant so that she could travel the world with her now-ex.
The couple parted ways after about two years of dating following filming for Southern Charm Season 8, and now Taylor has taken on a totally new job in a different industry.

Taylor Ann Green’s Job
Per her official bio for Season 9, Taylor is now working in sales.
“At the end of last year, Taylor was reeling from the emotional end of her two-year relationship with Shep,” her bio reads. “Now, the former orthodontics assistant is forging a new career in sales and finds herself becoming Charleston’s new ‘It’ girl. She enjoys her singledom with best friend Olivia [Flowers] by her side, but the emergence of some racy rumors threaten their friendship.”
Though Taylor did take time off from her position as an orthodontics assistant, she insisted at BravoCon 2022 that she never quit in order to travel with Shep.
“I didn’t quit my job,” Taylor said, before teasing what she’s up to now. “I took a hiatus and then I came back. And I was like, I need a more lenient job that, ya know… So, the sales and marketing [job] is perfect.”

In Episode 2, Season 9 (which aired on Sept. 21 on Bravo), Southern Charm fans got an inside look at Taylor in action as she took viewers inside her job as a rep for a cocktail brand, Day Chaser. In the episode, Taylor meets with Leva Bonaparte at Republic to share her "PR box" from the cocktail brand she works for these days with the Republic team.
According to the brand's website, "Day Chaser is a ready-to-drink spirit-based canned cocktail with real fruit juice and sparkling water. This easy drinking beverage is perfect for those living an active lifestyle full of adventure."
In an interview featured in the Season 9 episode, Taylor elaborated more on how she ended up at the company and in her new career path. "Last year, I was working as an orthodontic assistant. I loved my job, but I gave everything up to travel with Shep. At the time, I thoguht that it was the right decision because I thought that we were getting married, settling down, having kids; but instead I was just out of a job without something else lined up. So, Shep, thanks for that."
Taylor went on to share: "Honeatly, I never saw myself as a salesperson, but Shep had a buddy who was looking for a rep and impressing Leva would be kind of a big deal. But I have no idea what she's thinking [during this meeting]. Crickets"
Leva shared her reaction to Taylor's new role in interview, sharing, "This is a big moment for my friend and I'm here to support her in whatever way that I can... but this is why I'd never quit a job for a dude."

What Else to Expect from Southern Charm Season 9
In addition to highlighting her new job on the show, Taylor’s love life will also be a topic of discussion on Season 9.
After ending her romance with Shep, Taylor’s close friendship with Austen Kroll is questioned by other members of the group — which also includes Olivia, Craig Conover, Madison LeCroy, Leva Bonaparte, Venita Aspen, and new additions Rod Razavi, Rodrigo Reyes, and Jarrett “JT” Thomas.
The press release for the season adds, “Taylor is still working through her breakup with Shep and has been leaning on best friend Olivia for support. When a potential hookup of hers is revealed, Taylor denies the allegations and is unapologetic about enjoying her single life.”
Though Taylor “denies the allegations,” Austen admits that “something happened with [him] and Taylor” in the trailer for the season (which you can check out above).
Plus, Taylor reconnects with her ex along the way.
“Taylor’s in Shep’s room,” Olivia tells Austen and Craig in another moment from the trailer, though fans will have to tune in to find out what exactly went down between the exes.
