The former football player thanked his new girlfriend for her support during this difficult time.
Southern Charm New Orleans' Jeff Charleston is recovering after a "motor vehicle incident" that sent him to the ICU over Christmas.
Jeff opened up about the accident in a post on Instagram on December 31. "Spent Christmas Day in ICU after a motor vehicle incident on Dec 23rd," he shared. "The best part of all of it is that not only am I alive but I was blessed to have @_maddienoel_ in my life."
The news accompanied a post of Jeff with a woman who appears to be his new girlfriend. Southern Charm New Orleans fans watched Jeff start to date again last season following his divorce from Reagan Charleston.
Jeff said on Instagram that Maddie is "a true angel that has been there every step of the way."
He ended his note by showing gratitude for all of the help and kindness he has received as he works to get his health back on track. "I have a long and difficult road to recovery in front of me but just want to make sure I do appreciate all the support and love all of you!!!!" Jeff shared.
