Southern Charm Alum Ashley Jacobs Is Pregnant with Baby No. 2: "Grateful"
Ashley Jacobs, who appeared on Seasons 5 and 6 of Southern Charm, is already a mom to a son named Grayson.
Southern Charm alum Ashley Jacobs is pregnant and expecting baby number two.
The registered nurse, who appeared on Seasons 5 and 6 of Southern Charm, confirmed the exciting news via PEOPLE on September 30.
"I've come a long way since my Southern Charm days!!!" Ashley told the outlet. "My husband, son and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting baby boy [No. 2] in FIVE WEEKS!!! We cannot wait for his arrival and to watch our boys grow up together. Grateful is an understatement!"
As Ashley mentioned in her statement, she shares a three-year-old son named Grayson Maxwell with her husband of three-and-a-half years, Mike Appel.
Ashley publicly announced her pregnancy while taking a staycation babymoon with her husband and son in Santa Barbara, California.
She also confirmed that the growing family is in the process of renovating their home. "Aside from pregnancy, we're also remodeling our new home," Ashley shared. "Life is pretty hectic at the moment but felt we could somehow manage to squeeze in one last vacation just the three of us."
Ashley Jacobs' life since Southern Charm
After her last appearance on Southern Charm Season 6, Ashley went back to her home state of California. Following her move, Ashley returned to her nursing career, and she met her now-husband, Mike, who is an entrepreneur, at a summer rooftop party in Santa Barbara in 2019.
Mike popped the question when he and Ashley were on a trip to Park City, Utah in March 2021.
"After a year and half of dating, we can both agree that this adventure we're on together is just getting started," Ashley told PEOPLE about their engagement. "We're a great team and we can't wait for what's ahead! Buckle up!"
A few months later, in June 2021, Ashley revealed her first pregnancy — and that she had already quietly tied the knot with Mike.
About a month later, Ashley had her baby shower, and fellow Southern Charm alum (and fellow California resident) Landon Clements attended.
"I loved celebrating you and baby Grayson today!" Landon wrote on Instagram about getting an invitation to the event. "Thank you for having me it was so special."
In August 2021, Ashley gave birth to her son. Since then, she's shared sweet snapshots of her family life on her Instagram feed — from Halloween costumes to trips to Disneyland and the United Kingdom.
And, now later this fall, Ashley's family will be growing by one.
