Dr. Simone Whitmore Shares an Update on Son Michael’s Life in College
The Married to Medicine cast member shared her excitement over her son’s “next chapter.”
Dr. Simone Whitmore was equal parts emotional and proud when her son, Michael, started his first year at Lee University in Tennessee last fall. The Married to Medicine cast member recently shared an update on his life in college, and it looks the teen is thriving.
As Simone previously confirmed, Michael is currently pursuing his basketball career by playing for the university’s team, the Lee Flames. And it seems his athletic endeavors are going better than ever, as the mom of two captured in an Instagram post on March 14.
Simone reposted a series of family photos from her husband, Cecil Whitmore, documenting his recent visit to watch one of Michael’s games at school. In the sweet snapshots, Cecil can be seen posing alongside Michael and several others on a basketball court.
“Great trip to see @michaelwhitmoree ball,” Cecil wrote in the caption alongside the pictures. “It takes a village & trust me we have a great one!”
The dad also went on to tease what’s next for his son. “The next chapter is going to be a blockbuster," he wrote.
Though Michael has plenty to keep him busy at college, he's still made time to visit his proud parents throughout the year. Back in November, Simone shared a heartwarming snapshot of the entire family enjoying a dinner out.
