Shereé Whitfield Thanks Fans for Support and Prayers While Her Mother is Missing
"We are continuing to keep the faith and staying positive at this time," wrote the RHOA alum.
Following the disappearance of her mother, Shereé Whitfield is sharing a grateful, positive message with her fans after receiving an outpouring of support.
On April 8, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum revealed that her mother, Thelma Ferguson, has not been seen by the family since she left her Sandy Springs, Georgia home to go to the bank on March 23. At first, Shereé was hesitant to open up about the situation, but asked her Instagram followers for prayers, and to share any information with the Sandy Springs Police Department.
“Please keep my mom and my family in your prayers!” She wrote. “We all know that prayers can move mountains.”
On April 10, Shereé shared a post to thank everyone who had reached out. RHOA women, including Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and Shamea Morton, are just a few who shared their support for Sheree.
“I truly appreciate the outpouring of love, support and prayers for my mother’s safe return home. I know this no doubt will move mountains and bring her home. My family and I are humbly thankful for each and every post, repost, notification, text, and phone call," Shereé wrote. "Most importantly, I can’t say this enough, I thank you for your continued prayers. We are continuing to keep the faith and staying positive at this time.”
In Shereé’s initial post, she urged everyone to value their time with loved ones. “As we all continue to navigate through these uncertain times, remember the blessings of having each other...Family is everything!”
