Whitney Rose Clears Up the Swinger Rumors: “It’s Just Because I Live My Life Out Loud"
The RHOSLC cast member also guessed where she thinks the comments may have originated.
Whitney Rose is clearing the air about a certain rumor regarding her marriage.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member addressed comments that she is a swinger on the December 2 episode, at Mary Cosby’s Met Gala-themed luncheon. Mary asked each of the women to reveal something personal about themselves in an attempt to bring the group closer, and Whitney took it as an opportunity to set the record straight.
“I’m not a swinger,” she said.
Whitney also spoke about the misconception, and took a moment to guess where the rumor may have originated during her Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance, in which a viewer asked, “Where do you think these swinger rumors even started? And do you think any of the ladies were spreading them?”
“I absolutely think they started with the ladies. I don’t know where they’re coming from, maybe it’s just because I live my life out loud, and they can make assumptions. I don’t know,” offered Whitney.
Whitney has recently opened up about another misunderstanding regarding her relationship, and her exit from the Mormon church. While it had been suggested that Whitney was excommunicated after her marriage to husband Justin, she later shared how things actually played out.
“There is something I want to correct,” she tweeted. “Contrary to what one of my cast mates stated, I WAS NOT EXCOMMUNICATED from the Mormon church. I chose to walk away.”
