Lisa Barlow Sheds New Light on Her Explosive Showdown with Whitney Rose: “You Got Busted”

Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose's drama is far from over — and both have something to say about it on the RHOSLC After Show.

By Sophie Vilensky

Although The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 6 ended with "to be continued" as Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose had an explosive argument, viewers won't have to wait for Episode 7 to get more details on the drama.

In The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show video above, Lisa and Whitney share new information on the feud, which stemmed from Whitney accusing Lisa of leaking a rumor to a blogger that she was reselling Alibaba jewelry under her PRISM brand.

"I think, for her, she was trying to get ahead of something," Lisa said in the video above. "From what I was told, she was called and told, 'Hey, this blogger/podcaster is going to say all these mean things about your business.' ...Listen, you got busted. Your jewelry line is from Alibaba and you want someone to blame it on."

Still, Whitney explained that she has "every reason to believe that [Lisa] played a role" in spreading the rumor — mostly because she brought up the allegations on camera.

"When you bring something like this on the show, your intention is to discredit or hurt," Whitney said in her own After Show interview. "She has a lot of accounts that do dirty work for her, and I know this because she betrayed one of them and that account showed me receipts."

Why are Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose feuding?

During Season 5, Episode 6, Whitney pulled Lisa for a chat that soon became dramatic.

Initially, Whitney asked Lisa if she'd purposefully left behind the necklace she'd gifted her in Milwaukee. Lisa, for her part, said leaving the accessory in her hotel room was a total accident — but Whitney wasn't done.

Next, she accused the Vida Tequila owner of feeding information to an Instagram account that had reported Whitney's business practices were shady.

"It's not me, Whitney! It's not f-cking me!" yelled Lisa. "It's not true, it's not true! I did not DM that account and I did not talk about your business. You're getting bad information from someone. That's bullsh-t."

However, Whitney explained in her own After Show interview that all signs point to it being Lisa who shared the rumor in the first place.

Does Whitney Rose Buy Her PRISM Jewelry from Alibaba?

As Whitney explained on Season 5, Episode 4 of RHOSLC, she denies the claims about her business.

"There is a social media account that is accusing me of buying my jewelry from Alibaba, and that is not true," she said. "We buy from curated vendors; that's called 'commerce.'"

Why Whitney Rose Thinks Lisa Barlow was Behind the Rumors About Her Business

In the same After Show clip, Whitney explained that she was "told point-blank" that Lisa was behind the rumor. Meredith Marks, however, has a different perspective.

"I already know for a fact that Whitney does not have hard evidence on this," Meredith said. "The blogger who she was getting this 'proof' from, he reached out to me and explained to me what was going on and told me that he never said that Lisa was behind this. He thought it might be Lisa, personally, but he had never been told that or given that information. And Whitney kept running with it as if she had this proof, when I'm being told by the person who supposedly gave her the proof, the exact opposite."

Although Whitney acknowledged that her proof is "secondhand," she declared, "It was enough evidence for me, even second-hand. I trust this person more than I trust Lisa."
