Whitney Rose Announces What’s Next for Her Husband Justin’s Career
The update comes after Justin lost his job during Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Whitney Rose is sharing how her family is doing after her husband, Justin, was fired from his job during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3.
“Currently, I am the breadwinner,” Whitney said during the RHOSLC After Show on February 1. “And I am so proud and honored to say that, because it has always been a goal of mine.”
The success of Whitney’s business Wild Rose Beauty — which she said is still “doing great” to this day — is what helped her achieve her goal. But unfortunately for Justin, he’s currently unable to work alongside her. “Justin still has four and a half months left of his non-compete, and in the non-compete, he cannot work for Wild Rose Beauty,” Whitney explained before cheekily adding, “’Cause I’m that big of a threat.”
The particular circumstances of their situation may have been a blessing in disguise, though. “Since the day Justin and I got married, I said, ‘Someday, I’m going to retire you, and you’re gonna get to golf and then manage the kids,’” Whitney said. “It’s been a dream of mine.”
And now that dream has pretty much come true. “Justin is living his best life. He is taking naps, he’s driving carpool — it’s actually been a very beautiful thing for us, because after such a hard year, my husband gets to be home with our children,” Whitney shared. “Like, as a mother, it is so meaningful to me that they have a dad that’s present in their life.”
“So, I don’t know what’s next for Justin Rose’s career,” she concluded, “but my goal is to keep bringing in the money and keeping him home, because I get to boss that man around. And it is so amazing.”
