How RHOSLC’s Angie Katsanevas Got Revenge After Her Shoes Went Overboard

A lot went down on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s December 7 episode, but in what was perhaps the most memorable moment — at least for Angie Katsanevas — her $1,500 shoes were thrown off the group’s yacht.
Giving a behind-the-scenes recap of the incident on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, Angie explained, “Someone came back and said Jen [Shah] threw some shoes overboard, and it was so funny. Lisa [Barlow] was so stressed out that they were hers.”
Cut to a clip of Lisa yelling, “Oh my God, I hope they’re not Saint Laurent ones!”
Lucky for her, they weren’t. But Angie quickly realized she was the one without a pair, and though she began to panic, it wasn’t because of the shoes. “At that moment, I did not care about my shoes,” she said on the RHOSLC After Show. “I was really worried about my phone, because it has all the photos of my daughter on it and just important things.”
Angie was “relieved” when she eventually found her phone, but that didn’t change the fact that she was without her $1,500 shoes. And when it came out that Jen was responsible for their disappearance — and that Heather Gay and Meredith Marks were laughing when Jen pitched them overboard (although they said on the After Show that they thought the shoes were Jen’s) — Angie was naturally annoyed.
She said Whitney Rose suggested they throw Jen’s shoes off the yacht as revenge, but Angie refused. “I tried to talk myself into doing it, because I thought, ‘OK, that bitch threw my shoes in the ocean. I’m gonna throw hers overboard.’ And I looked at them and they were white, and my dress was white, and I just thought, you know what’s a better move? I took her shoes, I put them on, and I wore them off the boat.”
Jen, meanwhile, was shoeless. “That was a better move,” Whitney said on the After Show. “I’m glad you didn’t listen to me.”
