Although we're only a few episodes in, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 has already introduced us to some very special people, including friend of the cast Britani Bateman. Soon after fans met Britani, she took it upon herself to share some news: her beau, Jared Osmond (yes, he's related to Donny and Marie), had made it Instagram official with her. But it turns out his Instagram habits include more than posting photos of Britani at the grocery store.
During RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 3 — which aired Oct. 2 — Angie revealed that Jared had been messaging her eyebrow technician.
"I have one little thing that's kind of weighing on me," she said while folding laundry with her husband, Shawn Trujillo. "Britani, who you haven't met yet, has this whole on-again, off-again situation with her boyfriend. But my brow girl was telling me that he's, like, sending her DMs and commenting in her DMs and wanting her to call him. So she asks me, like, 'Are they together?'"
In a confessional, she shared even more — including a dramatic reading of the DMs (you can read them yourself below).
"My brow girl tells me that she is getting overly friendly, flirtatious texts from Jared Osmond," Angie explained. "I can read you the DMs. So, she'd posted a hot little photo of herself, and he said: 'Oh, you are so fun.' And my friend said, 'I'm actually a little bit of a handful.' And he said, 'Do tell' with a little tongue out emoji."
Later, Angie unveiled more DMs from Jared. After attempting to call her brow girl, here's what he said:
Ultimately, Angie decided to tell Britani about the DMs.
"I'm not sure, woman to woman, how to handle this," she began. "But my brow girl was telling me that she was like, DM'ing with [Jared], that he wanted her number, that he wanted her to call him."
How did Britani Bateman react to Jared Osmond's DMs to another woman?
After Angie told Britani about the DMs Jared sent to her brow girl, Britani got visibly upset. "You know, I've suspected," she said with tears in her eyes. "But it's hard to get confirmation. Do you know what I mean?"
Are Britani Bateman and Jared Osmond still together?
Britani Bateman has long had an on-again, off-again relationship with Jared. As she revealed on the RHOSLC Season 5 premiere, they had broken up at least 16 times over the course of eight months.
Currently, there's no trace of Jared on Britani's public Instagram feed, and the RHOSLC Season 5 friend has yet to publicly confirm their current status.
