Meredith Marks Admits She “Failed” at This on the San Diego Cast Trip

Meredith Marks was assigned the important role of “CEO of Fun” during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s recent cast trip to San Diego, but she’s the first to admit that things didn’t exactly go as planned.
“I failed!” Meredith said on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, adding that the getaway was marred by “a lot of long dinners” and “arguments.”
Heather Gay argued that the group did indeed have “some fun times,” but other cast members, such as Lisa Barlow, ultimately agreed with Meredith’s assertion. “Jen [Shah] should’ve self-appointed herself or me or Angie [Katsanevas] or Whitney [Rose],” Lisa said. “Or maybe even Heather, but Heather likes early nights. Like, most of the time, Heather wants to be locked in her room by 10 o’clock.”
Whitney, meanwhile, said she just wanted the trip to be a legitimate escape. “Being an individual woman outside of being a mother, a wife, a business owner, this is our chance to just go and be us,” she said on the RHOSLC After Show. “But in this group, we are not there yet. Take away the alcohol, take away the beach, take away the water — we need a Sprinter van!”
Added Heather, “It takes just an indomitable spirit and optimism, especially with this group, and also the ability to not take ourselves that seriously and to kind of see the big picture and not get so caught up in the petty power plays. Let’s just let loose and live a little.”
