Caroline Manzo Celebrates Her “Second Daughter’s” Birthday
The Manzo'd with Children matriarch is paying homage to a special family member, whom Lauren Manzo Scalia dubbed "the greatest big sis a gal could ask for."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Manzo'd with Children fans know that Caroline Manzo's family means everything to her. And she definitely did not miss the chance to share a sweet tribute to one of her nieces, Candice Laurita, this week and open up about their very special bond in a post on Instagram.
"Wishing my niece and 'second daughter' [Candice Laurita] a very happy 40th birthday. She's a handful in the best of ways. Always a phone call away when you need her, ready for the greatest of adventures in the drop of a hat, the craziest cheer mom and coach that ever lived, the greatest mom and wife, a dazzling entrepreneur that takes pride in her work [at Dazzle Candy], and most importantly, a loving, crazy, funny, all around good human being. I wish you all the love and joy that your heart can hold. Love you to bits."
According to Candice's Instagram bio, as her Aunt Caroline points out, she's an entrepreneur and boutique owner, and she often posts about her family, including her husband, Josh, and their kids. "Happy Father's Day [Josh]! Thank you for being the best dad who's always down to make the kids super wild, help them with homework, play football in the yard, watch a movie, get ice cream and make things fun - we are lucky to have you and love you so much!" she shared for Father's Day in 2021.
She also shouted out her own dad, who is one of Caroline's many Laurita siblings, including Jacqueline Laurita's husband, Chris Laurita, as well as her estranged sister, Dina Manzo. "I'm also very lucky to have [Anthony Laurita] as my dad - always ready to jump in when I need him and loves my kids to death."
BTW, there is a lot of love for Candice in the Manzo family. Lauren Manzo Scalia also wished her cousin a happy birthday in time for the milestone occasion. "Happy 40th Birthday to someone I’d be completely lost without but also drives me completely f--king insane daily. Thanks for being the best 'Coach Yummy' to Markie [and] the greatest big sis a gal could ask for," she wrote. Previously, Candice shared a sweet photo and message for Markie on her birthday earlier this year.
"Happy, happy birthday to my little Markie moo!!" Candice shared about Lauren's daughter several weeks back. "I am so proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate you this weekend!! Yummy loves you sooooo much!!!!"
