Teresa Giudice Has Huge News About Daughter Gabriella’s College and Career Plans

We’ve watched Teresa Giudice’s daughters grow up on The Real Housewives of New Jersey over the years, and now another Giudice girl is getting ready to leave the nest.

Teresa’s second eldest daughter, Gabriella Giudice, 17, is getting ready to graduate from high school next year. So when The Daily Dish caught up with Teresa at the NBCUniversal upfront earlier this month, we just had to ask the New Jersey Housewife what the future has in store for Gabriella as she prepares for this new chapter of her life.

Teresa shared that Gabriella has started to think about what college she wants to attend and the career she hopes to pursue. “We have to start looking at colleges. At first, she wanted to be a CIA agent, and then she saw how much money they made, and now she’s changed her mind. So, like, I can’t wait to see what college she goes to, because she is my smartest kid,” Teresa said. “I can’t wait to start looking at colleges with her and see where she ends up.”

Gabriella should have her pick of colleges, as Teresa pointed out her daughter’s academic achievements, including her high GPA. Teresa shared that Gabriella was even being recognized by the National Honor Society that night. “She does amazing at school. She’s so smart,” the proud mom said. “[I] get letters from all the teachers all the time saying how amazing she is.”

Though we’ve seen a lot of all of Teresa’s daughters on RHONJ through the seasons, her eldest, Gia Giudice, 21, played a particularly large role this past season, notably coming to her mom's defense at the charity softball game. “She grew up on this season,” Teresa said of Gia on the red carpet of the NBCUniversal upfront. “And if she wants to have her mommy’s back, I raised her right then. She was very respectful, and listen, she wasn’t being disrespectful or anything.”

As much as Teresa gushes about her girls, they also never miss the opportunity to show their mom some love right back, as Gia did with a birthday tribute to Teresa in honor of her 50th birthday earlier this month. “Happy birthday to the queen herself,” Gia wrote on Instagram on May 18. “I love you so much, cheers to 50 years of being young! You deserve everything and more. Your energy lights up every room you walk into! Thank you for everything you do for our family, we wouldn’t be able to do it without you! To more happy memories xoxo.”

Of course, all four of Teresa’s daughters, which also includes Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, came out to shower their mom with love, love, love during her 50th birthday celebration. Teresa’s caption on a photo of herself and her daughters from that day says it all: “Love my girls.”
