Melissa Gorga Shares Photos That Prove Gino Is His Dad Joe Gorga’s Twin
The RHONJ mom celebrated her son’s 15th birthday with pics that will definitely make you do a double take.
Melissa Gorga is proving the apple doesn’t fall far from the (family) tree. While celebrating her son Gino’s 15th birthday on September 12, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared photographic evidence that the teen is definitely dad Joe Gorga’s doppelgänger.
The trio of photos that Melissa shared on Instagram show Gino in two different poses on a Sea-Doo, followed by one of him soaking up the sun on a boat while surrounded by gorgeous blue water. “Gino!!! This is 15!! Happy birthday my handsome Athlete!!” she captioned the September 12 post. “I couldn’t be more proud of you! Love watching you play football!”
Of course, several of Melissa’s RHONJ castmates — including Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, and Margaret Josephs — took the opportunity to wish Gino a happy birthday in the comments section. While Dolores wrote, “Sooo cute happy birthday,” Margaret added, “Happy 15th birthday handsome and talented [Gino Gorga].”
Meanwhile, in her Instagram Stories, Melissa also shared a slideshow of throwback childhood photos of Gino with his siblings, Antonia and Joey, set to the tune of “Life Is Wonderful” by Jason Mraz. Later, she posted videos from Gino’s birthday dinner, including one of him blowing out the candle on his dessert.
Joe, for his part, also shared father-son photos from the celebratory family meal, giving fans the side-by-side comparison to prove Gino truly is his mini-me. Even though Gino is now 15, that didn’t stop his dad from hilariously giving him a noogie in the second pic. “Happy birthday to my firstborn son! Named after your Grandfather,” he captioned the shots. “I love you kid. Keep making me proud.”
Melissa even made a funny observation in the comments, writing, “Omg! Teeth smile!!!” adding three raised-hands emojis.
The RHONJ mom would certainly know, having just taken Gino and Antonia’s back-to-school photo days earlier. And yes, she was feeling “so many emotions” as her senior daughter drove her freshman son to high school on September 6.
“Where did time go? When people used to say that time [flies] I never believed them,” Melissa wrote. “Thank you God for blessing me with such amazing kids… have the best day my loves.”
