Jennifer Aydin Shares an Update on Her Relationship with Her Mom, Josephine

Jennifer Aydin is giving an update on the status of her relationship with her mother, Josephine. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, who has previously opened up about issues within her family, including a rift that resulted from differences with her mother, recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse at where things currently stand between the two of them.

“How it started...” Jennifer wrote in the caption of her May 8 post, alongside a heartwarming picture with some of her family members, including her sister Tina, brothers Michael and Steven, and her mom. She went on to write, “Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Mom! We celebrated our favorite way, together, at home.” Jennifer also added the hashtag “I get it from my mama" to the caption of her post.

In addition to commemorating her fun Mother’s Day spent with her mom and family, Jennifer also expressed how important it was for her to “find the love” in another recent Instagram post with her mother. “Happy International Women’s Day!!!” she wrote in the caption of her March 8 post, which featured a sweet photo of Jennifer, Josephine, and her sister Tina, all smiles. She added, “Find a way to find the Love, no matter what.”

Jennifer continued to show love to Josephine on her mother’s birthday, sharing on Instagram a series of fun moments celebrating the special day. “How about we take a break from the drama and wish my mother a very happy birthday!” Jennifer wrote in her March 1 post, adding the hashtags “focus on what’s important” and “family first” to the caption.

She went on to reveal how thankful she was for her mom, saying, “I’m grateful that she’s healthy and happy [and] to have her in my life! We love you, Nana!!”

Earlier this year, Jennifer expressed gratitude for her mother after sharing on Instagram that Josephine was cancer-free following her battle with breast cancer.

“Time to celebrate — my mother is officially breast cancer free!” Jennifer wrote in the caption of her January 7 post, which featured a sweet photo with several of her children, and her mother, by her side.

Jennifer went on to add, “Thank you to all the amazing staff and doctors from [The Valley Hospital] that has been with and will be with us [through] every step of the way! Your care and gentle graciousness has meant more than any words can say. We sincerely thank you and are grateful for you! And most of all, Thank You to God, my Lord, Jesus Christ, to for without whom none of this would be possible.”
