You Need to See This Photo of Dolores Catania on “Nana Duty”
The RHONJ mom cuddled up with her daughter’s fur babies in a hilarious Instagram pic.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania will do anything for her furry grandbabies — including giving up (most of) her bed. She recently shared a hilarious photo that gave a behind-the-scenes look at exactly who the top dogs are in the Catania house.
First posted to the Instagram Stories of RHONJ daughter Gabby Catania, the snap showed Dolores talking on the phone under the covers — because, you know, multitasking — while surrounded by half a dozen pups. “[Dolores Catania] on Nana duty,” she captioned the snap of her mom.
During her time studying veterinary medicine in St. Kitts, Gabby adopted four dogs named Banana, Chicken, Bagel, and Potato. Following her vet school graduation, the now-doctor brought all the dogs back home with her.
Dolores, for her part, shared in an exclusive February interview with Bravo Insider exactly what it had been like housing a whole pack of pooches.
“It’s a crazy house. It’s like a zoo,” she explained, joking that her dog, Dog, “doesn’t love” all the company. “Too many dogs around. It is, I want to say, the equivalent of a busy city shelter in my house. So, there’s never a dull moment.”
Still, it’s certainly no secret how much of an animal lover Dolores is. In addition to working as an animal rescue advocate, the RHONJ ’Wife revealed she had welcomed several other furry friends into her New Jersey home. “We’ve even added a couple of different types of animals. We have a chinchilla, a cat named Pickles,” she added. “It's a total s--t show.”
If Dolores is willing to share her bed like that though, it can’t be all that bad.
