The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter is saying goodbye to a major part of her life.
Antonia Gorga has been cheerleading for well over a decade, but that chapter of her life is now coming to a close.
The high school senior revealed as much in a new TikTok shared on Sunday, February 26. "Come to my last cheer competition with me," she wrote at the beginning of the video, which chronicled her day from start to finish and featured clips of her and her team getting ready, grabbing Starbucks, warming up, and eventually taking the stage to perform.
"After 12 years of life it's over," Antonia captioned the TikTok. "I can't believe how fast it went."
That's not all she had to say, though. Revealing how her team did at the competition, Antonia added, "So proud of us getting 3rd in the state."
Her parents, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga, were equally proud. Melissa shared Antonia's TikTok to her Instagram Story, writing, "The end of an era" with a sad emoji and a heart, while an emotional Joe could be seen in a separate Instagram Story shared by Melissa's sister, Lysa. "Shedding a tear that this is [Antonia]'s last cheer competition," the video read.
Lysa also posted a photo of Melissa, Joe, Antonia, and several of her cousins on her mom's side. "Next stop college," she wrote in part alongside the group pic. "OMG slow down Father Time. I'm a proud Zia."
College is indeed up next for Antonia, and Melissa has made sure to keep RHONJ fans in the loop when it comes to the application, touring, and decision process. As she revealed in December, Antonia's first college acceptance came from Penn State University. Acceptance letters from the University of Rhode Island and the University of Delaware came next, and in January, Melissa, Joe, and Antonia toured the latter's campus.
Antonia has yet to share where she'll be headed in the fall — and her parents aren't exactly looking forward to her departure — but for now, she's soaking up her last moments as a high schooler. Prior to documenting her last cheer competition, Antonia also shared a video chronicling her final practice. The caption? "My fav team ever."
