RHOC Alum Jeana Keough’s Son Shane Keough Is Engaged and We Have the Details
RHOC OG Jeana Keough’s son Shane shared photos from the proposal, including a tribute to his late father.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough is about to welcome a new daughter-in-law to the family. On September 14, Jeana’s son Shane Keough announced on Instagram his engagement to a registered nurse named Francheska, also sharing plenty of stunning proposal photos.
“Best birthday present ever! I can’t wait for [Francheska] to be Mrs. Keough,” he captioned the post, which included a carousel of five images. “I am so happy we got to share this moment with our families. A perfect gift. I love you, future wife. 2023 here we come!”
Indeed, the proposal, which took place in Amelia Island, Florida, was every bit a family affair for both of them. In addition to several engagement snaps, including one of him down on one knee, Shane also shared several photos with their loved ones, including his proud mom, Jeana, along with his siblings, Kara Keough Bosworth and Colton Keough, among others.
Though Shane’s father, Matt Keough, died in May 2020, Shane included him in the happy occasion by holding a framed photo of the family patriarch in one shot. The RHOC son shared the same image on his Instagram Stories, writing, “Love you Pops.”
Meanwhile, Kara posted her own sweet photo of her brother and his bride-to-be on Instagram on September 14. “The future Mr. [and] Mrs. Keough!!! Congrats, [Shane and Francheska],” she captioned the pic, which shows champagne glasses and her future sister-in-law’s engagement ring in focus, while the out-of-focus happy couple gazes lovingly at each other in the background.
Kara didn’t stop there though. First, she shared several of Shane’s photos to her Instagram Stories, adding, “Can’t wait to call you ‘sister,’ [Francheska]” to one shot, and writing “It’s official!!!!” above another. On the same day, she also paid tribute to their late father. “Love you, dad,” she wrote in a text overlay, also including a blue heart emoji with the same pic her brother posted.
Later, the RHOC daughter uploaded plenty of her own videos of the post-engagement fete. Set to “At Last” by Etta James, one clip showed Shane and Francheska kissing and dancing by an outdoor fire pit, followed by a black-and-white video of the newly engaged pair kissing again, this time while seated at a table for a celebratory meal.
Among the excited well wishes that poured in from friends and family was one from RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson, who commented on Kara’s post, “Awe how exciting! Congratulations.”
