The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 7 picked up where Episode 6 left off: Showing viewers how girls' trips are done.

Up in the mountains of Big Bear, Tamra Judge, Katie Ginella, Jennifer Pedranti, and Alexis Bellino were goofing off and catching up. Meanwhile, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Shannon Storms Beador, and Emily Simpson were relaxing in sunny La Quinta.

These trips had everything we could have hoped for and more. The Big Bear crew, for example, got rowdy in matching animal onesies and suggested a cheeky new revenue stream for Jennifer. They even hit the town for a few drinks! It makes sense that Tamra's vacation home looked a little messy the next morning.

The La Quinta ladies kept things a little more buttoned-up, but still plenty fun. Relaxing with eye patches and elegant pajama sets the next morning, they put together an elaborate breakfast spread that had our mouths watering. (Those pineapple drinks looked too good to be true!)

Breakfast in La Quinta proved surprisingly emotional. Shannon opened up to the group about ongoing strains in her life, admitting that she'd been struggling to manage the tension, particularly as she felt estranged from longtime bestie Tamra. Gina, Heather, and Emily comforted her, reassured Shannon that they were in her corner.

"We support you, and you'll figure it out, and whatever you need, we'll be there for you," Gina said. At this, Shannon teared up again, from how "overwhelmed with love" she felt.

"You're so kind," Shannon said, looking into the eyes of her friends, "I feel like I don't deserve it, and I'm so grateful."

From there, the ladies dried their eyes and got dressed — some quicker than others — for a friendly game of pickleball. Gina and Emily, who experienced some conflict ahead of the trip, vented some frustrations to one another on the court. Gina initially seemed ready to storm off, but an unexpected obstruction (she couldn't get back into the house!) resulted in the two honestly working through their differences instead. Whew.

Up in Big Bear, the goofy vibes continued. Alexis' TMI-filled answers to simple questions kept cracking the 'Wives up, and later, she offered Katie some sincere advice on how to navigate a path to friendship with Heather.

All in all, the ladies of RHOC proved that it's never too late to host the sleepover party of your dreams.
