You Have to See Emily Simpson's Hair Transformation: "Let's Go Darker..."
The RHOC cast member updated her look with "darker and longer" locks.
Emily Simpson has ditched her golden brown locks.
On Thursday, November 21, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom documented her trip to Salon by Riri, an upscale OC salon specializing in extensions and color. Emily began by posting a video of several hair extension samples that ranged from lighter colors, like Ice, French Toast, Irish Cream, and Sugar Baby to darker shades, like Hot Toddy, Truffle, Havana, and Rocky Road.

“New Hair! Should I go darker or lighter?” Emily captioned one of the Stories, which tagged Kovi hair extensions. “Let’s go darker and longer.”
However, Emily didn’t stick to just one shade. She decided to add some dimension with two coffee-inspired colors.
“We’re mixing espresso and Americano hair,” she said in a subsequent post. “Excited for you all to see the final look! Stay tuned.”

After removing her previous extensions, Emily gave fans a look at her natural hair length, which fell shortly below her shoulders. She then returned to the styling chair where salon owner, Roya Falahi, began installing the hair wefts.
“My Persian princess and my hair guru [Roya],” Emily wrote in another video.
The RHOC cast member returned to Instagram shortly after to unveil the final results. And, we have to admit, the update was stunning. She provided a 180 look at her long, dark hair, which was styled with a middle part and bouncy curls that fell to her mid-back. You can check out the refresh below.
Emily Simpson's Past Hairstyles
This, of course, isn’t the first time Emily has switched up her hair look. Since joining RHOC in Season 13 (2018), the mother of three has donned many gorgeous ’dos. She’s rocked caramel locks with highlights, a chestnut-copper shade with loose curls, and a long bob in her signature honey-brown color. Emily spoke about the latter style in a 2023 Instagram post, confirming she decided to chop off her hair after the death of her family dog Fisker.
“How did you get the courage to cut your hair?” one fan asked in a Q&A. “Love it btw!”
“I had to put Fisker to sleep on Sunday, May 14th. Two days later I had a hair appointment and I couldn’t stop crying,” Emily explained. “I asked her to remove all my extensions and cut my hair. I felt so heavy with grief that for some reason cutting my hair off felt therapeutic.”
