Scheana Shay Slams Rumors That She Doesn't Tip: "So There's That"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member detailed what she "always" does when it comes to service.
Scheana Shay is shutting down rumors she doesn't tip servers.
ICYMI, on the November 14 episode of the Deux/U by Deuxmoi podcast, the anonymous host revealed that an "anonymous tipster" implied Scheana didn't tip at "numerous Chargers games" after being served "a few skinny margaritas." Following the claim, Scheana hopped on her Scheananigans podcast on November 22 to explain her side of the story.
"I have never in my life tipped zero percent," the Vanderpump Rules cast member confirmed on the episode of her podcast. "At the Chargers games, it's open bar. I always tip, whether it's cash or we tip on a credit card. And so if it's referring to two games ago, the only game, mind you, that I've ever even had margaritas at because I just decided to do a full send that day. I hadn't [drunk] in a few weeks. My friend who works for the Chargers, he's like, 'Let's get margaritas.' We tipped $50 on the card. Literally $50 for one round of free drinks. And then when we went back, they're like, 'Just come straight to the bar.'"
She declared, "If I have cash on me, I give another 20 [dollars]. At the last game, we tipped on every round."
Scheana, who of course worked in the service industry including her time spent at SUR, continued by noting she "always" tips and will continue to do so. "Never have I not tipped. That was like a triple negative, but you get the point," she joked. "I always tip, and I always tip minimum 20 percent. It's like 20 percent for bad service. I usually always tip over 20 percent. So there's that."

In addition to responding to rumors about her not tipping, Scheana also shared her thoughts on trying to remain friends with everyone in the Vanderpump Rules cast. "I strive to be kind to everyone [...] I do enjoy having a large group of friends. I've always been that way," she shared on her podcast. "I know others like Lala [Kent] prefer a very small, tight group of friends and that's okay as well, to each their own. But we're all different. We connect with each other in our own ways. I'll do me and I'll respect you doing you."
Moreover, during an October 3 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Scheana dished on some of her Vanderpump Rules friendships, first noting that she and Ariana Madix are on fine terms at the moment, but aren't super close.
"I saw her last week. I mean, we talk here and there, but I think we still need to have a deeper conversation," Scheana explained, adding, "We aren't as close as we once were, but we have so much love for each other, so I know we'll get back."
The California mom also shared that despite repairing their friendship on Vanderpump Rules Season 11, she's is not in touch with Tom Sandoval at all these days.
"No, I saw him at the Emmys, but [that's it]," she said.
