Here's How Heather Dubrow Really Feels About Twins Max and Nick Going to College
The RHOC cast member opened up about her eldest kids' recent college decisions on Instagram.
It's official: Heather Dubrow's eldest children, 18-year-old twins Max and Nick, have selected which colleges they will be attending in the fall. Nick will be enrolling at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, while Max will soon be a freshman at Tufts University in Massachusetts.
You better believe Heather has feelings about all this. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently shared a photo on Instagram of herself with Nick and Max wearing sweatshirts representing their respective colleges. Of course, Heather is showing her love for the twins' future schools, wearing an "LMU Mom" sweatshirt and a "Tufts Mom" hat in the snap.
Heather also took a moment to reflect on this next chapter for her children in the April 5 Instagram post. "WOW! It’s official! So happy for these two and SO PROUD! I can’t believe they are going to COLLEGE?!?" she wrote. "I will miss them terribly, but I’m excited to watch them soar on their next adventures! I love you both SO MUCH!!!! Congratulations, my babies you’ve earned this."
Last week, Heather announced the happy news that Max had decided to enroll at Tufts in a post on Instagram on April 1. "CONGRATULATIONS to my amazing daughter [Max]!!!! She will be attending TUFTS UNIVERSITY this fall and we couldn't be prouder!!!!" she shared. "WATCH OUT BOSTON, HERE SHE COMES!"
The post featured a throwback photo of Max as a toddler adorably eating an Oreo cookie with a pic of the Tufts campus Photoshopped behind her. Heather assured her Instagram followers that she will be packing "Oreos with her bedding and mini fridge" when it comes time to send Max off to college.
Max recently posted another photo of herself sporting her Tufts sweatshirt. "See ya in MA," she wrote in the caption of the April 4 Instagram post, along with a blue heart and an elephant emoji, referencing the university's official color and mascot, respectively.
Last November, Heather shared a video of the moment Nick found out that he had been admitted into LMU. The clip shows Nick, Max, and Heather looking nervous as he prepares to open the decision email. Joy suddenly breaks out among the trio as they learn that Nick has gotten into the school.
We can't wait to see what's next for Max and Nick!
