Gina Kirschenheiter Confirms She's in a New Relationship: "So Far, So Good"
The RHOC mom opens up about her new romance.
Following the news that she finalized her divorce over the summer after filing back in in April 2018, Gina Kirschenheiter has some exciting news to share about her love life. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is dating someone new and is feeling really optimistic about this romance, she confirmed to The Daily Dish on Monday (September 30).
"I don't feel like I'm newly separated... I've been separated and now I'm divorced for a long time. I am dating someone now and I think it's been really good. So far so good, and it's new. But it's good and I'm happy," she confirmed. "It's different [from my previous relationship], but I think you don't really know what it could be like and how good things could be and the potential for a good, healthy relationship until you find one. And I really like that it's different and I'm happy. It's good. So far, so good."
For now, though, she wants to keep the details about her new boo a mystery. "You're not gonna get much [info]," she said. "He's in Orange County, so we're both in the same county which is good. He's like a half hour from me."
Gina, who is a mom to the three kids, Nicholas, Sienna, and Luca, that she shares with her ex, also opened up about what it's been like to get back on the dating scene following her split, which she says fans will get to see for themselves on RHOC.
"It's interesting 'cause [my ex-husband] and I were separated for a year and half. When we went to Arizona, I had filed for divorce about a year and a half prior to that so I just didn't date 'cause I just wasn't really into it. I was just focused on my kids and stuff," she said, teasing, "And you will see me throughout the season kind of dip my toe into it a little bit — it doesn't always work out for me but I try."
You can follow Gina's journey every Tuesday at 9/8c on RHOC. Preview what's to come next, below.
