Cynthia Bailey Explains Why She Didn’t Spend Christmas with Noelle Robinson

The RHOA alum celebrated Christmas with loved ones and even received a message from her ex-husband, Mike Hill.

Cynthia Bailey may have spent the holidays with her loved ones, but one person was noticeably absent from her Christmas get-together: her daughter, Noelle Robinson. Well, in case you’re wondering why the mother-daughter pair weren’t together for the holiday, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum explained it all on Instagram.

How to Watch

“Spent Christmas day with my nieces [Layla and Londyn], my sister [Mal], my mother [Barbara], and my brother Thomas [and] his wife Lisa,” she captioned the family photo. “My [Noelle] is in Aspen with her dad [Leon Robinson]. Merry Christmas. Family time.”

(The Instagram post received some heart emojis from her ex-husband, Mike Hill, in the comments. In case you were wondering, Cynthia also commented on one of his holiday photos. The comments come weeks after the two finalized their divorce.)

While Cynthia and Noelle weren’t physically together for the December holiday (they did spend Thanksgiving together), Noelle did share a sweet photo with her mom timed to Christmas. Meanwhile, Leon posted some intel from his trip with Noelle, writing. “I’m still enjoying my Christmas. Hope you’re doing the same wherever you’re at! [Life is for living].”

Of course, Noelle and dad Leon often get in quality time. In fact, back in November, Leon posted a photo from a trip he made to Los Angeles to visit Noelle. Just days before, he posted a tribute to Noelle timed to her birthday, writing, “On this day, 23 years ago, she changed my life for the better.”

BTW, Noelle and Leon do love a good trip to Aspen. The duo spent some time there back in October, and Noelle shared all about the trip on Instagram, writing, “Being in Aspen always makes me feel like I’m in the movie [Twilight], which I have to watch once a month for my sanity… I always forget how much just spending time with dad makes all my anxiety go away until we’re together.”

And while her dad later couldn’t wait to celebrate her birthday in November, weeks before while posting about the October trip to Aspen, Noelle reflected on how she was feeling about getting older. “Scorpio season and quickly approaching and I feel myself energy loading up,” she wrote at the time. “I’m not 100 [percent] ready to be 23 but I have a few more weeks to come to terms with it.”
