Kandi Burruss Just Experienced the Most "Awesome" Moment with Her Family
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member shares a memorable moment with her loved ones in NYC ahead of the premiere of Kandi & The Gang.
Kandi Burruss is sharing unforgettable moments from an exciting occasion she just experienced with her family. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member recently took to Instagram to reveal captures from her trip to New York City, where she rang the Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell and lived it up with family in Times Square.
"Today was awesome! I got to ring the bell at [Nasdaq] with my family [and] they played our Kandi & The Gang commercial in Times Square!" Kandi wrote in the caption of her March 1 post, which featured Kandi celebrating with family as they watched scenes from the new series, Kandi & The Gang, which were digitally displayed atop the Nasdaq Tower building's massive screen right in the heart of Times Square.
Kandi went on to express her gratitude for her husband, Todd Tucker, in the post, adding, "[Todd] you had an idea that has manifested into something so amazing! I am sooo excited for Kandi & The Gang to premiere! My whole squad shining!"
Todd also shared a glimpse at the memorable moment, writing in the caption of his Instagram post, "From the Bronx to Time[s] Square! Momma we did it! GOD [is] GREAT!"
In addition to her hubby, Kandi was also joined by Mama Joyce Jones, Aunt Nora Wilcox, Aunt Bertha Jones, and Kandi's longtime right-hand man DonJuan Clark for the special occasion.
"[Kandi & The Gang] living our best life on Times Square with Nasdaq," Kandi wrote in another post, which showed glimpses of her ringing the Nasdaq Closing Bell, as well as having a blast with her family in the heart of the city.
Speaking of Kandi's family, the new series Kandi & The Gang follows Kandi's family and staff, who work at her famed Old Lady Gang restaurant in Atlanta. Fans will get an inside look at the family-owned and operated eatery, which will, of course, includes The OLGs: Mama Joyce Jones, Aunt Nora Wilcox, and Aunt Bertha Jones.
