Riley Burruss Reveals the Surprising Reason She Doesn’t Watch RHOA
The RHOA daughter appeared on WWHL with mom Kandi Burruss and shared many exciting life updates.
Riley Burruss has grown up in front of the world. Her mom, Kandi Burruss, joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta back in Season 2 when Riley wasn’t even a teenager yet.
Currently, Riley is studying at NYU and thriving in NYC, and when she joined her mom on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, May 22, she was quick to offer up some new updates on her life today, including the news that she completed another year at New York University.
On WWHL, Riley was asked about her plans for this summer, and she revealed all in the clip, above. And, yes, you can bet her mom is gushing about everything her oldest kid is up to, sharing on Twitter: “I’m really proud of her!”
On top of sharing her academic achievements on RHOA, Riley also allowed viewers to go inside her journey as she navigates some issues with her dad. She was asked about the current status of their relationship on WWHL, to which she noted, “I don’t remember the last time I spoke to him, so that answers that question.”
BTW, that’s not all Riley was opening up about. She also revealed her thoughts on one of her mom’s more NSFW businesses, Bedroom Kandi, and if she ever watches RHOA. Riley’s answer made her mom laugh, which you can check out below.
Riley also reflected on her WWHL appearance by sharing a glorious photo backstage with her mom and fellow Clubhouse guest, Lil Jon. “Went to [hang out] with my mom for the day and ended up at #WWHL!” she captioned the moment. And, yes, Kandi had feelings about seeing her daughter behind the bar, writing on Instagram, “I can’t believe they let Riley be the bartender… ”
