Lisa Vanderpump Reveals an Exciting Update About Vanderpump Dogs

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills philanthropist shared a touching post on Instagram.

Lisa Vanderpump never sleeps. Not only is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills restaurateur the proud owner of several restaurants, she also started Vanderpump Dogs, a non-profit that has saved more than 500 dogs since its opening in March 2017. Lisa and her hubby, Ken Todd, also recently won a difficult case in Congress — Congress passed a resolution that urges all nations to stop the selling of dog and cat meat. This particularly takes place as trade in China, which is why Lisa wanted to open a rescue mission there. And now, it looks like that center is almost complete, thanks to an adorable video Lisa posted on Instagram, which refers to her June Yulim rescue mission. The mission caused the ban of dog meat just one week before the Yulin Dog Meat festival, where thousands of dogs are killed for their meat in China's Guangxi province.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The touching video gives us all an inside look at the space Vanderpump Dogs occupies in China, with her creative director, Dr. John Sessa, cuddling several sweet puppies that have been rescued. There is every kind of breed imaginable, and the pups are showering Sessa with tons of love as he kisses and hugs them.

“Thanks to everyone who has helped us on our mission, we are putting the finishing touches on our Vanderpump Dogs Rescue Facility in China! My hero our Executive Director, @dr.johnsessa has made so many trips to get our facility up and running (he’s currently their organizing the installation of our new rooms!) - our amazing team in China has been working tirelessly to ensure the safety of these precious animals,” wrote Lisa in the caption accompanying the sweet video. “Rescued from our 6.18.18 Yulin rescue mission, these dogs were on the verge of death, but are now happy, healthy & soon will be available for adoption! Our goal is to protect these animals while we fight to put an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. To get involved with our Yulin initiatives, visit vanderpumpdogs.org.  #StopYulinForever #VanderpumpDogs.”

Isn’t that great?! Lisa’s taken her mission global, and we can’t wait to see the great things she’ll do.
