Who Ended Up with Who on Queens Court Season 1? Where They Are Now

Emotions ran sky high and surprises just kept on coming in the first season of Queens Court.

By Joe Dziemianowicz

In Season 1 of Queens Court, three celebrated women — Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada, and Nivea —set out on a journey to find forever partners: their kings.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 2 premiere of Queens Court on Sunday, October 6 on Bravo and Peacock.

Guided by star couple Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete, the three queens met 21 eligible and successful men. But, in the end, a love match comes down to two people. Who ended up getting crowned?

As the second season of Queens Court debuts on Peacock and Bravo on Sunday, October 6 and a new trio of queens holds, let’s review the surprising crowning ceremony in Season 1.

Where is Tamar Braxton now?

Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton courted several men during the dating show’s 10 episodes, but ultimately she zeroed in on attorney Jeremy “JR” Robinson. During dates around the city they got to know each other and grew close.

Tamar had hesitations, though. Was JR being 100 percent genuine? Whatever doubts Tamar had about her love story with JR, she put them aside and asked him to be her king. He accepted — and went one better. In the show’s finale, JR popped the question. She said yes.

It was a fairy tale ending. But it wasn’t built to last forever. JR ultimately announced on social media that the couple called it quits.

“So many questions. So many assumptions. I want to answer all that I can with respect,” he wrote in a statement on his Instagram Story, PEOPLE reported. “Yes, Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person.”

A source later told PEOPLE that the split was Tamar’s decision, according to the same report.

“There’s been a lot of drama, but the hope is that the nail isn’t all the way in the coffin for them. She needs time,” the source said.

Where is Evelyn Lozada now?

Former Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada was taken with branding expert Lavon Lewis upon his arrival at the Queens’ Castle in Atlanta. It became apparent that he’d captured her attention — and her heart.

Love stories typically come with hurdles. For Evelyn and Lavon, the obstacle was geography.

“We live in two totally different states. We have kids. How do we do this?” Evelyn wondered aloud on Queens Court.

Despite trepidations about a long-distance relationship following their whirlwind romance, Evelyn invited Lavon to be her king, and he was delighted to wear the crown.

But distance was an issue that didn’t go away, and the couple ended their engagement. The two confirmed the split in a statement to PEOPLE.

“As we started to plan our future together, we began to realize that we are two different people, good people, but different,” the statement read. “Our relationship was beautiful and we love each other but we mutually agreed that we are best as friends.”

Where is Nivea now?

Unlike Season 1’s other two queens, Grammy nominee Nivea wasn’t able to narrow down her choice to just one king by the show’s finale. She was torn between men: Mark “Mac” Anthony and Ty.

“Mac, you’re secure in who you are, which is beautiful, Nivea said in the last episode. “I’ve been moved by you. I’m sorry you are not my king.”

She told Ty, “I’m so grateful I got to know the man that you are. I am still not sure about us. I’m sorry — you are not my king.”

In the end, Nivea found the experience to be a positive one and a sign of personal growth.

“I ultimately chose myself,” she said. “It took me years to do that.”

Nivea is still single today.

Season 1 of Queens Court is streaming on Peacock.
