Porsha Williams Reveals an Update on Co-Parenting with Dennis McKinley Today
The RHOA alum also sounded off on whether she has plans to have children with her husband, Simon Guobadia.
Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley haven’t been a couple for quite some time, but they’re still on the same team.
The exes got engaged in September 2018 when The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was pregnant with their daughter, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley, and they had an on-and-off relationship (which included a re-engagement) until they split for good in 2020.
Porsha ultimately married Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia in a lavish multiday celebration in November 2022, but she opened up about the latest in her co-parenting relationship with Dennis during an appearance on the June 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Porsha and Dennis’ Co-Parenting Relationship
Though Dennis and Porsha’s relationship wasn’t always smooth sailing, the two have reached a positive place for their daughter, Porsha revealed on WWHL after host Andy Cohen asked her for an update on co-parenting PJ with her ex-fiancé.
“It’s going great, it really is,” Porsha said. “Yeah, we live near each other. Our relationship is good.”
She also shared that her daughter, who turned 4 in March, is “amazing” and that the three have a “great” family dynamic.
Fans may recall that Dennis and Porsha highlighted their unique relationship back in April 2023 when they stepped our for PJ’s first ballet recital. The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 cast member posted a video from the adorable event on her Instagram feed, which also showed that her husband, Simon; her mom, Diane T. Williams; and her sister, Lauren Williams were in attendance.
“It’s [Pilar Jhena’s] 1st Ballet recital,” Porsha captioned her April 21 post. “We are so proud of our baby!!! I can report that although she was nervous your insta-niece killed it!!”
Porsha and Simon’s Plans for Children
When Porsha celebrated Simon’s birthday by sharing a carousel of photos of the two on Instagram on June 2, she hinted that the spouses are looking to grow their family.
“Hopefully God sees fit to expand our lil family in the future,” she wrote in the post’s caption.
However, during her appearance on WWHL, Porsha had a different response when asked about whether she plans to have kids with Simon (who has five children from his previous relationships).
“We don’t ask women ‘Are they having children?’ anymore,” Porsha told Andy after he read a fan’s question about whether she wants more kids. “We don’t do that. We also don’t watch my belly all the time anymore.”
