Porsha Williams’ Daughter, PJ, Just Achieved a Major “Big Girl” First (VIDEO)
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared an update on her 4-year-old daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley.
It’s been a season of fun, sun, and splashing for Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley. Porsha Williams’ daughter has had plenty of pool time in the past few weeks. In fact, seeing The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter in a bright swimsuit, floaties, and goggles is a regular occurrence on Porsha’s feed. What’s not typical, however, is the “big girl” first that PJ just experienced on a swim day with her mama.
PJ’s Major “Big Girl” First
In a June 21 Instagram post, Porsha shared a series of videos from a fun day spent with PJ. The mother-daughter duo splashed around on the beach and hit a water park where PJ tried something new.
One of Porsha’s videos showed giant twisty waterslides in candy-colored hues. The water park seemed to be in a tropical locale, as lush palm trees spread out behind it. As Porsha traveled down a blue slide, her daughter was right beside her, riding the yellow one. “PJ went [down] her [first] big girl slide,” the proud mama wrote.
Another video, filmed at the beach, showed Porsha carrying her daughter out of the water — or at least trying to. Porsha laughed while PJ kicked her legs, staging a mini protest as she tried to get back into the water. “The family is struggling,” the videographer could be heard saying in the background.
In her caption, Porsha wrote, “Ohhh and [we] had some trouble at the beach lol. The next day she kept saying ‘Mommy remember we had some trouble.’”

PJ Is 4 Years Old
It’s no wonder PJ is going down big girl slides — she’s getting to be a big girl herself! Though it seems like just yesterday when Porsha was holding her precious newborn baby, little Miss Pilar is now 4 years old!
Back in March, Porsha shared photos from PJ’s adorable birthday bash. The little one celebrated her special day with a whimsical cake. In the center, “Happy Birthday Pilar” was written in a buoyant, bright orange font. Five frosted balloons also decked the dessert, and for an extra dash of sweetness, the confection was dotted with sprinkles.
Porsha’s photo showed the birthday girl right before she blew out her candles. Shaped like stars and the number 4, the candles seemed to have extra wish-granting power. Whatever the little one wished for, we hope she wished big!
