Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida Reunite for "the Best Birthday Surprise" for Their Son Dylan
The Married to Medicine cast member celebrated her youngest son's (nicknamed Mr. President) 11th birthday in some serious style.
Phaedra Parks has many titles, between being a successful business owner, mortician, attorney, and activist. But the title that the Married to Medicine cast member wears best is "mom."
Phaedra is the mom of two sons — Ayden and Dylan Nida — who she shares with her ex-husband, Apollo Nida. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has been so open about her love for her two boys, and her celebration for Dylan's 11th birthday party is proof of that. Especially after she reunited with Apollo at Dylan's school for his class birthday celebration.

Phaedra took to her Instagram feed last week, where she posted a series of photos taken at Dylan's surprise 11th birthday party at the Icebox showroom in Atlanta. In the photos, Dylan can be seen standing in front of a watch-shaped birthday cake while wearing a Versace shirt, trying on diamond-encrusted watches and chains, and posing for photos with his mom and big brother.
At the tail end of the carousel, Phaedra posted a video of her surprising Dylan in his classroom with bags of Chick-fil-A on his birthday. "Surprise, surprise. It's Dylan's birthday, so we're having Chick-fil-A today," Phaedra said in the video, to a round of cheers from his classmates.

In a single photo, Phaedra can be seen standing next to Dylan in his classroom, surrounded by his classmates, while Apollo sits on the floor, by her feet. "Thank you all for the birthday wishes," Phaedra wrote in the caption of the post. "Mr. President turned 11."
Why does Phaedra Parks call her youngest son Mr. President?
No, Dylan isn't the president. At least, not yet. Phaedra has been referring to her youngest son by this unique nickname since birth.
In 2013, Phaedra told Us Weekly that they were waiting to officially name Dylan in a traditional African naming ceremony, but they had been referring to him by his nickname in the meantime. "We've been calling the baby Mr. President!" she told the publication at the time.
Where Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida stand today
Some Married to Medicine viewers might have been surprised to see Apollo when he made an appearance at Part 3 of the Season 10 reunion. Apollo spoke publicly about their relationship, during the reunion, clearing the air and addressing rumors about what their relationship looks like now.
"Phaedra and I's relationship is kind of impeccable at this moment," Apollo said. "It started out topsy-turvy when I first came home. I was always upset, she was upset."
During an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this January, Phaedra said that things are going well when it comes to co-parenting with Apollo. "Co-parenting is going great," Phaedra said, noting that the boys are "most definitely" with her full time. However, Apollo "does take [the kids] for weekends...He likes to take them," she said.
