Padma & Her Ex Come Together to Celebrate Their Daughter’s Graduation: “Can’t Believe”
Former Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi and her ex Adam Dell reunited for their daughter Krishna's big milestone and Padma posted all the sweet photos.
Padma Lakshmi has a new reason to be proud of her daughter, Krishna. The former Top Chef host is celebrating her kid's big milestone as she graduates middle school. For the special occasion, Krishna was joined by a special guy, her dad, Adam Dell, who was, of course, on hand for the big event.
Padma took fans inside the graduation celebration on Instagram where she not only shared photos of the family, but also got emotional as her daughter begins her next chapter.
Padma Pays Tribute to Krishna (nickname "Littlehands") on Her Graduation
Padma wrote about her daughter's milestone moment: "I can’t believe my baby girl is off to high school after the Summer. I want to thank all of the teachers, educators, counselors, security and staff at the United Nations School for taking care of Krishna all these years. I’m so proud of Krishna and all she has achieved in her young, happy life. Special thanks to the theater department at UNIS and all the wonderful members of the parents association. I’ll miss you guys at the snack bar! As Littlehands would say... gurl, bye!"
Months prior to the big graduation, Padma wished her daughter a happy birthday and noted how much she loved being her mom. "There are thousands of words I could say about how proud I am to be your mother and to watch you grow," she wrote at the time. "Happy birthday to my [littlehands]!"

Padma Lakshmi Talks Co-Parenting Daughter Krishna with ex Adam Dell
Over the years, Padma has shed light on what it's like to co-parent her daughter with Adam. Back in November 2023, she revealed how they spend the holidays with their daughter.
“Usually [Littlehands] and I do a big Thanksgiving dinner…with all our loved ones,” she wrote about Krishna. “Some years when she has been with her dad, I just go to Paris and have a ball. No turkey, no relatives.”
Padma has also posted updates on their family life over the years, including in 2020 when she wrote, "Thank you so much for always being there for [our daughter] Krishna and for me."
Around that time, she also spoke to Us Weekly about how they manage to make it work: "I don’t know that there is a perfect balance. Every day is different."
