Noella Bergener's Husband Files for Divorce: "It's a Bad Dream"
The new Real Housewives of Orange County cast member opened up about her marital issues in the December 15 episode.
In the December 15 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Noella Bergener revealed that she was served divorce papers from her husband.
"I'm lost. I'm completely lost. I don't know what to do, I don't know what to think," Noella said in an interview during the episode. "It's a bad dream. It's just a really, really bad dream."
Noella first shared the news during a FaceTime call with Shannon Storms Beador, saying that she needed to speak to her attorney and figure out "what happens next." "He made an error, and he needs to repair it, but I never thought that this would be the end of our marriage, you know? I never thought that that would mean that I'm a single mom with our son," Noella told Shannon. "I just want my husband back. I want him to come and tell me what the hell is going on."
Last spring was an especially difficult time for Noella. In May, her 2-year-old son was diagnosed with autism, which Noella opened up more about earlier in the episode, and her mother was hospitalized in June. "I need a breath," Noella said as she got emotional with Shannon on the phone. "I don't understand what's going on."
Toward the end of the episode, Shannon and Gina Kirschenheiter, who have both been through divorces of their own, comforted Noella while out to dinner. "This is a lot more helpful than you girls know," Noella told her friends. "It really is."
